Ship one stuck feature in your existing product

For product teams whose SaaS already has users. Pick one feature or fix that keeps slipping; we deliver it in your repository with tests and a handover note.

Who this is for

  • A working product with real users, not a concept or an unlaunched prototype.
  • An existing React/Node or Django codebase you can give us read access to.
  • One feature or fix with a named owner on your side who can approve scope.
  • A team that wants outside hands for a defined piece of work, not a replacement for its CTO.

What the first engagement includes

  1. A scoped review of the code the change touches, before any quote.
  2. A written scope with acceptance checks, exclusions and a fixed fee.
  3. Implementation in your repository, following your conventions and review process.
  4. Automated tests for the behavior we changed.
  5. A release to staging, with your approval before anything reaches production.
  6. A handover note and a walkthrough with your team.

What stays out

Ongoing support, on-call duty, platform migrations and redesigns of the product are separate engagements. So is anything without a defined end. We do not start with free development, an unpaid prototype or an open-ended retainer dressed up as a first project.

Two examples of the work

Both were existing products. Each case study states our specific contribution and where its limits are.

Continued development of an internal documentation tool

We worked inside an existing release rhythm on a tool for insurance standards, with tests on the critical path, automated builds and documentation the team could keep.

An internal standards tool, not a subscription product. No delivered feature or measured outcome is claimed.

Character persistence in an existing Django product

We built a character registry, curated reference sets, separated prompt composition and a comparison loop that checks generated panels against the registered character.

One feature inside the product, not the whole platform, and no accuracy guarantee.

How the work runs

  1. A short call about the problem, your timeline and whether outside help is actually wanted.
  2. We read the relevant code and write a scope with acceptance checks, exclusions and a fixed fee.
  3. You approve the scope. We work in your repository and show progress every week.
  4. You review on staging. We release when you approve.
  5. Handover: tests, notes and a walkthrough. The code stays yours.

Who does the work

The engineers who quote the work do the work. Dennis Reinkober is the contact for scope and commercial questions. We are based in Mönchengladbach, Germany, and work in CET; we agree a shared window with you, usually your morning and our afternoon.

Before we quote

We do not give a binding estimate before reading the code. The first conversation covers the problem, who decides, your timeline and your budget range. If the work does not fit that range, we say so instead of shrinking the scope quietly.

Questions before starting

What does an implementation sprint cost?

A fixed fee for the agreed scope, quoted after the scoped review. There is no public price list because the useful number depends on the code. If your budget is below what the work needs, we will tell you rather than cut the scope without saying so.

How long does it take?

A date comes with the quote. We do not promise a timeline before reading the code, and we do not treat a range as a commitment.

Do we have to give you production access?

No. We work against staging or a local copy. Access is limited to what the task needs and removed at the end. Client code and production data do not go into unapproved AI tools.

Who owns the result?

You do. The work lands in your repository under your license, including the tests and the handover note.

Can you follow our process?

Yes. We use your branch, review and release rules and join your standup if that helps. We ask for one person who can approve scope and one who can review code.

What if the scope turns out to be bigger?

We stop and re-scope. A larger change gets a new quote; we do not absorb it silently or bill the difference as an overrun.

Will you sign an NDA and work under our contract?

We review your NDA and agreement, and we raise conflicts with how we work before signing. We are 0C9C Hex UG (haftungsbeschränkt), not a US entity or an individual contractor.

Tell us about the feature

Leave a number and we will call to find out whether one bounded piece of work fits. No free development, no obligation.
