From MVP to a platform for web, iOS and Android

A community platform lives or dies on getting the right driver to the right event. Nobody knows upfront which features do that, and opinions are never in short supply. So the job was not a fully specified requirements document but a way to put something usable in front of the scene quickly and learn from it, without starting over at every change of direction.

We built in short cycles and instrumented every iteration from the start: what gets used grows, what sits idle gets cut. On the content side we worked closely with influential people from the German sports-car scene, so the curation and tone landed with the actual audience. Technically the platform runs on Next.js, React and TypeScript with PostgreSQL as the data layer, containerised, alongside the mobile apps for iOS and Android.

The first version grew into a running platform with a web presence and apps in both stores, including driver profiles, a curated events area and a dedicated side for organisers, brands and clubs. Product decisions are now made on usage rather than gut feel.
