From idea to a production sports-data platform

The team had a clear product idea and access to data sources, but no engineering capacity to build a dependable platform. They needed an MVP that convinces real users and also serves as a foundation for later scale — not a throwaway prototype.

We scoped lean to the core value proposition and built in weekly demos. The frontend used Next.js and React, the data processing Python and FastAPI, with PostgreSQL as the data layer. Everything containerized with Docker and hosted EU-sovereign, so the infrastructure stays reproducible and grows with the data volume.

The result was a production-ready MVP the team could put in front of users and stakeholders. The architecture was deliberately designed to keep running as the production system rather than be rebuilt — cleanly documented and ready for handoff.
